You may call me The Catablogger. But my real name is Alvin Dantes (hence the AD logo). I am not actually a cataloger, but a library student who just finished taking a cataloging class, and feels that this makes him somehow qualified to catalog stuff. As I start cataloging the contents of my house, we’ll see just how qualified I really am.

I am a former employee of Hewlett-Packard and consummate techie. I hate the name “Web 2.0″ because there’s no proper version control. I read a lot of random stuff about libraries, technology, and try to find the links because that is where the profession looks like it’s going. I am a Linux enthusiast but I also have a Macbook and a Windows 7 netbook.
