Hunch.com

I’m a fan of Hunch.com.  It can be kind of addictive.  Hunch asks you a bunch of questions about a problem you may have and suggests a solution.  For me, it’s fonts.  When I was designing websites for class or myself, I ask Hunch what to use.  I’m not a big design guy, so it’s nice to get a concrete answer according to what I think I want.  It’s a nice recommendation engine.

I could make a tie between hunch and reference and reader’s advisory and how it’s commodifying and crowdsourcing what librarians have been doing for years.  Instead, I’ll just say that Hunch is cool.
