Wired’s Ryan Singel and TechCrunch’s Paul Carr have differing opinions on Facebook’s new privacy options.  Singel argues that Facebook has too many hooks in all the wrong things, we users are suffering, and there needs to be a better alternative.  Carr argues that anyone complaining about privacy on Facebook doesn’t understand how the internet works, specifically that anything on the internet is automatically public.

Interesting reads, and an interesting juxtaposition of reads.
